Me atrevo a sostener, a partir de mi experiencia leyendo a este joven y brillante poeta peruano, que una de las estrategias de las que \u00e9l echa mano es el uso de arquetipos. En particular, Ray se instala en recrear una y otra vez el arquetipo del sabio cuyos conocimientos suelen expresarse desde la econom\u00eda afor\u00edstica. Pocas palabras, pero las precisas para generar una m\u00f3nada, una alegor\u00eda del universo, un aleph, una sentencia, una paradoja, una imagen irreductible. Sus poemas est\u00e1n poblados por citas y referencias a fil\u00f3sofos cl\u00e1sicos mayormente, pero tambi\u00e9n se constituyen a partir de la elaboraci\u00f3n de reflexiones que cobran sentido hoy, pero tambi\u00e9n en cualquier otro punto de la l\u00ednea cronol\u00f3gica. Sostiene nuestro poeta en \u201c<i>No hay lenguaje escrito sin ostentaci\u00f3n (1953)\u201d<\/i>, poema cuyo t\u00edtulo es una cita de <i><strong>El grado cero de la escritura<\/strong> <\/i>de <strong>Barthes<\/strong>:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><em>1.1 La soledad de un lenguaje ritual que devora su<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><em>figura.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><em>1.2 Romper la geograf\u00eda de la palabra es la misi\u00f3n de<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><em>una poiesis del lenguaje.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><em>1.3 Los signos ya no se relacionan con la idea, la<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><em>metaf\u00edsica traici\u00f3n del concepto contempl\u00e1ndose<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><em>retozar en el murmullo mismo de su intenci\u00f3n.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><em>[\u2026]<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><em>1.8 La fragmentaci\u00f3n del lenguaje es la poes\u00eda. <\/em>(92)<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">\u201cLa fragmentaci\u00f3n del lenguaje es la poes\u00eda\u201d. Habr\u00eda que detenerse en este aforismo en el que Ray se refiere a la poes\u00eda como fragmentaci\u00f3n del lenguaje. Volvamos a Barthes. Este sostiene en el libro antes mencionado que la literatura \u201cdebe se\u00f1alar algo, distinto de su contenido y de su forma individual, y que es su propio cerco, aquello precisamente por lo que se impone como Literatura\u201d. \u00bfHabr\u00eda que mirar entonces por fuera del fragmento? \u00bfCu\u00e1l es el afuera del fragmento que es el poema? Si seguimos a Ray, podr\u00edamos decir que ese afuera es el lenguaje total. El poema, entonces, en su constituci\u00f3n fragmentada, ruinosa, nos dice algo sobre su afuera que es el lenguaje mismo, el lenguaje entelequia. El poema insiste en quebrarlo para mostr\u00e1rnoslo en toda su potencia: el poema es el lenguaje en la cresta de la ola, porque solo en el poema es posible crear un universo de sentido. Por fuera del poema, el lenguaje se ve abocado a la conciencia de su propio fracaso.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Otro aspecto de los libros de Ray al que quisiera referirme en este mismo plano de los recursos que dislocan el tiempo es que estos libros, al menos los dos primeros, comienzan con poemas dedicatorias. Escribir un poema como pre\u00e1mbulo de un poemario, dibujar a la persona a quien se dedica el libro en un poema-portal, es un gesto de otro tiempo, es un gesto cl\u00e1sico. Es un gesto que revela el dominio de las formas. Si alguien tiene que ser dibujado en el poema es aquel a quien este se dirige, no por caer en la redundancia, sino para ahondar en el motivo. En \u201c\u00daltima dedicatoria: a un loco celeste llamado Rogelio\u201d escribe:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><em>El loco pinta la m\u00fasica<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><em>Fue amigo de:<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><em>Chatterton Nerval<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><em>Baudelaire Van Gogh Trakl Cel\u00e1n<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><em>Artaud Pizarnik Ojeda Hern\u00e1ndez<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><em>Panero Ruiz y tantos otros<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><em>El loco ser\u00e1 suicidado<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><em>Por los bondadosos de este mundo<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><em>Pero a \u00e9l le gustan los muertos. <\/em>(20)<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">El poema\/dedicatoria es un mapa intelectual y afectivo.
